New Moon Opening Night Sales

The New Moon opening night sales have been record breaking! After many months of teasers, marketing ideas and a huge base of blood-thirsty fans, it was now time to check how well it went in the box office.

Twilight: New Moon made $26.27 million in sales made in 3,154 theaters. The previous record was held by the Harry Potter saga: “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” with $22.2 million dollars!

Could it break the one day record of the Dark Knight? ($67.1 million?) It seems it will easily get to that figure!

New Moon Comic Con 2009

Madness at the New Moon Comic Con 2009 line! Apparently it seems that some girls were complaining that some mother of girls were camping on the line, reserving spots for large numbers of people.

The girls have called themselves the “anti-Twimoms” (hey nice name!( and their mission is to stop what they call “creepy old people” who are in line to see a teenager - this time Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob on the film Twilight!

Kristen Stewart Mullet

Kristen Stewart Mullet - What happened to Kristen Stewart’s hair? The star of Twilight and New Moon was seen with a mullet.  Even after she tried to hide it. The hair is kinda 80-ish, reminds me of those female rock singers form the past, it is also dyed black.

It was hard to see what was on her head since Kristen went up and down with a hoodie, but finally the photo was taken! She looks sad in the picture… well she’s always looked a bit sad, but always beautiful. This is definitely not her best look.

This was the Kristen Stewart mullet.

Twilight Cruise 2010

Twilight Cruise 2010 - Attention Twilight fans! There’s information about a special Twilight cruise setting sail next year.  This cruise - just for Twilight fans - will sail to Alaska for the Twilight Convention at Sea and Alaska Adventure!

New Moon trailer leaked - The trailer that was supposed to be unveiled at the MTV Movie Awards has been leaked on the Web! Check it out below:

The clip is short, only lasts 14 seconds, and we get to see a kiss between the main two characters of the Twilight saga.  Is this enough? So much ado about a 14-second cliip? What do you think?

Robert Pattison Shirtless - Entertainment Weekly has published new photos from Robert Pattison on the set of Twilight sequel, “New Moon”. In those photos, Pattison appear shirtless and “pumped up”. Didn’t know vampires were so athletic!

Here’s what EW says about the photo:

We’re assuming these new paparazzi pics are from the scene in which Bella rushes to stop Edward - who believes she’s dead - from stepping into the sun and exposing his sparkling body to the masses so that the Volturi will be forced to kill him.

It seems producers are working hard to show naked bodies to the teenagers. I can hear them say: Hurry up! Before the fad goes away!

It seems ladies are willing to pay that sum of money to a simple kiss!

Wow, and yes I said ladies because there were 2 winners, each one of them paying the $20,000.

New Moon Poster leaked - The official poster for the upcoming Twilight sequel, “New Moon” has been leaked and hit the Web today. Rejoice Twilight fans!

In the poster we can see Robert Pattison,  Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner standing in a dark, creepy forest. As we said yesterday, there will be a New Moon clip presented at the MtV Movie Awards on May 31, so don’t miss it!

The MTV show producer said more about this:

“Fans can tune in to the show to see sneak peeks from the most highly anticipated movies of the year. these clips have never been seen before and we’re very excited that The Twilight Saga: New Moon is one of them.”

New Moon MTV Movie Awards!

New Moon MTV Movie Awards - According to some insider info, it seems that in the upcoming MTV Movie Awards, a New Moon video clip will be presented by Robert Pattison, Taylor Lautner and Kirsten Stewart.

This will be the first clip we have on the much expected sequel to Twilight one of the most successful movies in the last years. And well… the MTV Movie Awards have become perfect launch platforms for teen movie marketing campaigns, just remember how Transformers and even Twilight last year took advantage of this awards show very well.

This year’s show will be hosted by SNL star Andy Samberg, and will take place on May 31 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in California.

Nikki Reed - Twilight fans rejoice as they find out that co-stars Nikki Reed and Robert Pattison are dating - again fiction meets reality! Well… maybe they’ll get jealous, seeing now how the vampire boy is the last teen sensation.

Right now, they are shooting the next Twilight movie: “New Moon” and well, maybe things are getting pretty hot on the set!

According to Laney Gossip, they were together at Robert’s place on April 29, and then together again on the evening on the Juno Awards after party.

According to a source Nikki Reed and Robert Pattison “spent much of the time talking to each other, heads bent close together,” and at the end of the night, “Kristen and Michael hopped in a cab, and Nikki and Rob walked further up the block…arms wrapped around each other on their way home.” “She stayed with him overnight, was supposed to be back in L.A. on Monday….But never showed.”
