Sanford Emails - South Carolina’s the State newspaper has made public a series of emails that Sanford sent to his Argentinean mistress, who is simply called “Maria”.

She was approached today by reporters of the same newspaper, but she refused to make any declarations. The emails presented date back from a year ago, perhaps the beginning stages of the affair. These emails are extremely cheese. Here are some extracts:

… Lastly I also suspect I feel a little vulnerable because this is ground I have never certainly never covered before - so if you have pearls of wisdom on how we figure all this out please let me know… In the meantime please sleep soundly knowing that despite the best efforts of my head my heart cries out for you, your voice, your body, the touch of your lips, the touch of your finger tips and an even deeper connection to your soul.

Jenny Sanford | Mark Sanford’s Wife

Jenny Sanford - She is the wife of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, and perhaps the person who ended up the most damaged after the affair of his husband. Although the news of this affair just came to the public today, we know that Jenny knew of this problem for some time, and they have been dealing with this.

On today’s press conference Governor Sanford apologized to Jenny and his kids. More information about her can be found in http://www.scgovernor.com/about/jenny/ however the page seems to be down for the amount of visits it is having (what we webmasters call a server overload!). According to her bio:

After graduating from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, she worked for an investment banking firm, Lazard Freres & Co. in New York City, where she became a vice president in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on media and communications companies.

According to earlier news, Jenny Sanford didn’t know really where his husband was, and she evens aid that he did not spend Father’s Day family with her.  As he returned from Buenos Aires, it seems pretty clear that he spent that time with his mistress.

Mark Sanford Affair - Mistery solved! Remember the news we reported that South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford was missing? Well, he finally came back, and with a BIG surprise! At a press conference he admitted having an extramarital affair with a woman in Argentina. Now we know why his wife didn’t know anything about him!

Sanford whereabouts were unknown, press speculated and even a version came out that he was hiking.  He said that he was sorry with his wife Jeannie and his family:

“I hurt her. I hurt you all. I hurt my wife. I hurt my boys,”

Mark Sanford said he met his mistress innocently and it evolved into something else. This was a very strange press conference, he began with the Appalachian trail, his court battle, apologizing for everything and ended up with this “mea culpa”.
