Watch the video of Kris Allen singing “God of This City” by Christian band Bluetree. The American Idol winner is a Christian and he chose to sing this song - one of the best selling in the genre.

This song was made famous by Bluetree and was composed while the band was on a mission trip in Thailand. Where they actually played in club that doubled as a brothel, the “Climax Bar”! I’m not into Christian music but the music is pretty nice!

Kris Allen American Idol 2009 Winner - Tonight was the big American Idol final. Yes! Many people though he didn’t stood a chance, but he finally beat Adam Lambert in the American Idol finale!

Kris Allen didn’t believe he just won, in fact he said that Adam Lambert deserved it in an act of humility:

“Adam deserves this. I’m sorry.”

Kris’ thought is shared by millions of people in America who thought that Adam was way ahead of Allen.  Judges also thought the same, as yesterday they thought that Adam Lambert won 2 of three rounds.

What do you think? A while back David Hernandez said that he didn’t think that Lambert would win because he is openly gay.  At that time that didn’t sound very good, but now seeing this… Was he right?

Congratulations to Kris Allen! No doubt a great singer, and the “underdog” contestant of this season!

Steve Martin American Idol Finale - Tonight is going to be an exciting night because we have reached the American Idol finale, and also Steve Martin will be performing live a song from his latest album.

The American Idol finale will have us watching Kris Allen and Adam Lambert go one on one with their voices. The song that will be performed by Steve Martin has not yet been announced but it is very likely to come from his album The Crow: New Songs for the Five String Banjo.

Kris Allen Heartless video - Tonight was the time for  the top 3 performances on American Idol, and Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kriss Allen each sang one song they choose and another one chosen by the judges.

All she wants to do is dance - Another American Idol night tonight and this time we had the chance of seeing Kris Allen’s rendition of “All She Wants to Do is Dance“.

This happened on the Season 8 of American idol and on stage were the American Idol Top 8 finalists.  Tomorrow we’ll get to see elimination night again.  Who will think deserves to go?
