David Carradine Funeral - Hundreds of people attended the funeral of actor David Carradine, held in LA 10 days after his tragic death in Bangkok. People who attended the funeral included Hollywood personalities who worked with him or met him in some ways, including co-stars such as Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, Jane Seymour and tom Selleck.

David Carradine was 72 years when he was found dead in a Bangkok hotel, and the circumstances of his death are still being investigated by Thailand police.

Carradine’s burial was private and the family stay in closed doors away from the media, only invited people could enter. According to the Associated Press the songs heard in the funeral included Midnight Rider by the Allman brothers and Let It Be by The Beatles.

David Carradine Death UPDATE - TMZ has some declarations coming from David Carradine’s rep.  Check out what he said to them:

“We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock.”

Wow, according to the BBC, David’s body was found hanging in the closet with a rope around his neck.  I can’t see where we can find the “accident” angle in this.  To me it would look like suicide at first glance, of course, it could also have been murder, but even the authopsy reports say that this is a case of suicide.

Annie Bierman is David Carradine’s wife. They married back in 205 in Malibu, California. They remained together for 4 years until the sad events from this morning.

Prior to Bierman, Carradine was married to four women.  He had a son and daughters from those previous marriages, including the son with Barbara Hershey. The actor, remembered for his role as Kwai Chang Caine in the series “Kung Fu” will be greatly missed.

After the sad news from this morning, people are finding more about the Carradine brothers.  David Carradine was part of a family of actors, son of John Carradine.  His half brothers Keith Carradine and Robert Carradine also were actors.

David rose to international fame for his role in “Kung Fu” as Kwai Chang Caine, a TV series that ran from 1972 to 1975. David Carradine’s death has taken everybody by surprise. According to the ESA Embassy in Bangkok, the popular actor whose latest big role was the villain in “Kill Bill”, was found dead in a Bangkok hotel.

David Carradine was found dead at the age of 72. Apparently, Carradine committed suicide, as he was found this morning with a rope around his neck.  He was currently working on a movie. His personal manager, Chuck Binder was shocked:

“He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person.”

Carradine’s thoughts about suicide seem to have been present for a while, according to a 2004 interview with the Telegraph:

“Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer. And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see.”
