Billy Mays Hypertensive Heart Disease

It has been known that Billy Mays passed away as a result of Hypertensive heart disease, this is a disease that occurs when the hearts gets enlarged because of hypertension. It is a common cause of death among different types of heart disease.

This information comes from preliminary autopsy reports.

Speculations of head trauma were spread, as people remembered he was in an emergency plane landing, however according to the examiner there was no trauma on the head. Instead, his heart was heavier than normal, with an enlarged left ventricle, all signs of hypertensive heart disease.

There were no indications of drug abuse, he was taking meds win the correct amount.

Oxiclean Guy Dead

Oxiclean Guy Dead - His name was Billy Mays (misspelled Billy Maze and even Willie Mays) and he was 50 years old.  Today, approximately at 7:45 AM. He was found unresponsive by his wife Deborah and moments later he was pronounced dead.

A spokesman of Discovery Channel, where he worked at “Pitchmen with Anthony Sullivan”, said in a statement:

“Everyone [who knew] him was aware of his larger-than-life personality, generosity and warmth, Billy was a pioneer in his field … He will be greatly missed as a loyal and compassionate friend. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family at this time of incredible loss.”

He had recently returned from Philadelphia where he was shooting an Oxiclean commercial. They had an emergency landing, although no injuries were reported. He will be greatly missed.
