American Idol May 19 2009 - Tonight was the final singing competition in American Idol, and it came down to only two contestants: Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. This time they got to sing 3 songs each.

One song was their favorite from this season, other was picked by Simon Fuller and the third was “no Boundaries”.

As favorite songs, Kris chose “Ain’t No Sunshine” and Adam chose “Mad World”. According to Simon, the winner of this first round was Kris. Next came the songs chosen by Simon Fuller.

Adam Lambert sang “A Change Is Gonna Come” and Kris sang “What’s Going On”. This time, Simon called Adam Lambert the inner.

Finally, on the song “no Boundaries” judges said that the song was best performed by Lambert. But, well, ultimately the pick for American Idol winner, will go to the one with the best votes.  Tomorrow will be decided who will be American Idol 2009 Winner! Steve Martin American Idol Finale - Tonight is going to be an exciting night because we have reached the American Idol finale, and also Steve Martin will be performing live a song from his latest album.

The American Idol finale will have us watching Kris Allen and Adam Lambert go one on one with their voices. The song that will be performed by Steve Martin has not yet been announced but it is very likely to come from his album The Crow: New Songs for the Five String Banjo.
