In the Rolling Stone interview, Adam speaks frankly about sexuality, and well he has been always pretty open about the issue, and he knows that.

“I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,”

“Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler, I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine bullshit. I need to be able to explain myself in context.”

He also talks about the epiphany that led him to American Idol on “Wild Idol: The Psychedelic Transformation and Sexual Liberation of Adam Lambert.”

Adam Lambert Queen - Here is my favorite moment of the American Idol 2009 finale! When the top two contestants sang “We Are the Champions” with Queen- or at least with Brian May and Roger Taylor. Wow what an emotive moment.  This is a song that is ageless a true classic that always makes me miss Freddie Mercury.

Kris Allen American Idol 2009 Winner

Kris Allen American Idol 2009 Winner - Tonight was the big American Idol final. Yes! Many people though he didn’t stood a chance, but he finally beat Adam Lambert in the American Idol finale!

Kris Allen didn’t believe he just won, in fact he said that Adam Lambert deserved it in an act of humility:

“Adam deserves this. I’m sorry.”

Kris’ thought is shared by millions of people in America who thought that Adam was way ahead of Allen.  Judges also thought the same, as yesterday they thought that Adam Lambert won 2 of three rounds.

What do you think? A while back David Hernandez said that he didn’t think that Lambert would win because he is openly gay.  At that time that didn’t sound very good, but now seeing this… Was he right?

Congratulations to Kris Allen! No doubt a great singer, and the “underdog” contestant of this season!

Steve Martin American Idol Finale - Tonight is going to be an exciting night because we have reached the American Idol finale, and also Steve Martin will be performing live a song from his latest album.

The American Idol finale will have us watching Kris Allen and Adam Lambert go one on one with their voices. The song that will be performed by Steve Martin has not yet been announced but it is very likely to come from his album The Crow: New Songs for the Five String Banjo.

Adam Lambert Streaker - Watch the video of Adam Lambert singing “Mad World” at his high school, when suddenly, a streaker decides to show him some love.

Wow! That girl is really hot! Too bad for her that Adam is gay…

By the way, this was perhaps THE song that made Adam stand out as one of the favorites; he must be signing it in his high school perhaps because everybody asks him to sing it! Even though Lambert is not my favorite I have to admit that was a pretty amazing performance.

American Idol Screw Up

It seems that responsible of American Idol screw up, because many people were eager to watch Adam Lambert’s performance of Mad World and well… nothing showed up.

People were seeing the show and when Adam Lambert was starting singing, they just cut up the transmission because it ran late. Here are some of the comments you can fid online.

“I DVRd the show and missed Adam! I am so pissed. I hope American Idol realizes their screw up and do not eliminate anyone since they screwed up. I hope they have him perform the song again tomorrow night. I am so sick and tired of AI going over time wise and screwing up the show and schedule.”

“We’re with you guys. wtf happened, we’re all set with our pizza ready to watch Adam ’cause we knew he would blow it out the box! And then it shut off…damn Fox for running over”

Adam Lambert Mad World

Adam Lambert Mad World - Adam Lambert was the final contestant performing on American Idol April 7, with the theme “Songs From the Year You Were Born”, and he sang Mad World. Again Adam Lambert Mad World was great, he gave another perfect performance and he got even a standing ovation from Simon who said:

“words are unnecessary, but I want to give you a standing ovation.”

This song “Mad World” was made popular to the youth (like me) thanks to the ad for the game Gears of War, it is a slow song but charged with emotion and Adam Lambert did great!
