David Cook Brother Dies of Cancer

Popular American Idol star David Cook is going through tough times.  His brother Adam has passed away after a long battle against cancer. Some of you may remember him always cheering up his brother during his American Idol days.

David Cook’s brother death was revealed by David himself to a crowd of people at a benefit for brain cancer research.

“I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now,”

David also said about his brother:

“I lost one today,” addressing people, runners and organizers, “but I gained 9,000 [friends] and I will be here every year that they will have me.”

Let’s remember that in March, David Cook cancelled two shows to deal with personal matters that many believed had to do with Adam, his brother. He loved him very much, and always put him first.
