Brett Johnson death takes the world of Dallas TV by surprise; he died today at 48 after complications with pancreatitis at Fort Worth hospital. Brett was a veteran reporter for NBC 5 where he worked since 1996.
Brett was a big fan of the Texas culture and it was always said that “he was more comfortable wearing a cowboy hat than wearing a suit”. He became famous presenting feature sotries, and he really seemed to excel in features related to music.

Kevin Skinner is the latest sensation on “America’s Got Talent”. On the Internet many people are comparing him to Susan Boyle, but well he is different. To start the style of music is different, so the voice is really different in terms of what he can do. However this former chicken catcher has a perfect just classic country voice and something that perhaps is even harder to find: charisma.
The judges laugh at first and seem to not give a damn for him at first - but hey, maybe this is all part of the show; I think after Susan Boyle, they are trying to create a similar phenomenon. It is pretty simple: first mock the person then shut up and watch surprised how beautiful the person sings.
Well, now Kevin Skinner America’s Got Talent video has gotten very popular on the Net. Good for him, his voice is what country is all about.
Shawn Hornbeck, who was kidnapped at the age of 11 during 4 years, talked in public about this in an interview with “48 HOURS MISTERY”. He was abducted in October 2002, and rescued in January 2007, during that time he suffered abuses form his abductor.
“Nobody knows the real story except for me, there wasn’t a day when I didn’t think he was just gonna kill me…[sometimes] it seemed I was better off dead than living through that.”
The man who kidnapped Shawn Hornbeck was Michael Devlin, also accused of kidnapping Ben Ownby and possibly more victims! Devlin inspired such terror to Shawn, by threatening him and his family that he even passed out opportunities to scream for help. He recalls when he saw FBI:
“I knew when they came in the door, it was either going to be something very good or very bad, it was a new feeling for me to say who I really was.”

The Beast Canceled - A&E series, The Beast, which starred Patrick Swayze has been canceled . According to Variety, the show was 2no more” after the latest rating charts. This show only had one season.
Other reports say that the show could continue but Swayze wouldn’t be on the leading role anymore. Patrick Swayze has not made any comments about the news, and we still have to wait for A&E to fully confirm to Variety’s affirmations.

Kris Allen American Idol 2009 Winner - Tonight was the big American Idol final. Yes! Many people though he didn’t stood a chance, but he finally beat Adam Lambert in the American Idol finale!
Kris Allen didn’t believe he just won, in fact he said that Adam Lambert deserved it in an act of humility:
“Adam deserves this. I’m sorry.”
Kris’ thought is shared by millions of people in America who thought that Adam was way ahead of Allen. Judges also thought the same, as yesterday they thought that Adam Lambert won 2 of three rounds.
What do you think? A while back David Hernandez said that he didn’t think that Lambert would win because he is openly gay. At that time that didn’t sound very good, but now seeing this… Was he right?

The Game Cancelled - It seems TV show The Game has been cancelled and won’t make it for the next season. It doesn’t appear on the fall lineup of CW.
“The Game” would join “Girlfriend” in the list of shows that won’t be coming back. But if you are like me and was just getting hooked up to the show, there’s still a light of hope, as some insiders say the show will return but hasn’t been announced yet.

Who will win American Idol - That’s the million dollar question isn’t it? We have on one side the highly popular and charismatic Adam Lambert, and on the other hand we have the “underdog” with the great voice, Kris Allen!
Now, Kris odds were bad. Remember when we had 4 contestants and everybody expected him to be voted off! Well, he survived despite all that, and now he is in the final.
Adam Lambert has a great voice, but it seems that many people are tired of him doing the same screaming in every song. It kinda tires you after a while… Yesterday, in a round of 3, judges said that Adam won 2 rounds, so well that gives you a pretty clear idea of the judges’ favorite.
