Former senator of New Jersey, Wayne Bryant’s sentence has been dictated! He will have to spend 4 years in prison.
The sentence came after accusation of using his influences and power to give a person a pension padded. Bryant did apologize to voters and public.
Wayne Bryant Sentence also says that he will have to pay $113,167.

Former US Representative from the republican Party, Chip Pickering has been named by his wife Leisha Pickering in the lawsuit against Elizabeth Creekmore Byrd, from Mississippi.
In the lawsuit, Leisha Pickering claims that Chip had an affair with Creekmore Byrd, an affair that ended up ruining their marriage and his political career. She claims that they had an affair during the time Chip Pickering was working at Congress.

Regina Benjamin will be designated today by President Obama as the U.S. Surgeon General. She was the first Afro-American woman to direct a state medical society. Last year Dr. Regina Benjamin received the “genius grant” given by the Mac Arthur Foundation, she also received the Nelson Mandela Award.
During the aftermath of Katrina, Regina Benjamin become a key figure in rebuilding her rural health clinic Bayou La Batre, allowing thousands of patient find help that they would hardly find anywhere else at that time.
The announcement will be made today in the Rose Garden. Congratulations to Dr. Regina Benjamin!
Mayara Tavares is the name of the 17-year-old-girl who was ‘hit’ by the piercing looks of Obama and Sarkozy during the G8 Summit. As we reported earlier, this is a controversial picture that well, became more important than what was discussed over at the Summit.
Now, ABC has released a video of the exact moment when the picture was taken, the ‘Obama Looking At Girl Video’ . And it seems like Obama was helping another lady on the stairs. Maybe he looked at Mayara while she passed, but he certainly didn’t turned over for this.

Robert McNamara dies - The 93-year-old former secretary of defense, and the primary architect of USA’s involvement in Vietnam passed away today at his home in Northwest Washington. Cause of death has not been made public.
According to the Washington Post:
“McNamara was secretary of defense during the presidencies of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson. In that capacity he directed a U.S. military buildup in Southeast Asia during the critical early years of a Vietnamese conflict that escalated into one of the most divisive and bitter wars in U.S. history. When the war was over, 58,000 Americans were dead and the national social fabric had been torn asunder.”
