Jeff Hanson dead - Jeff Hanson has died as a result of an accident. Jeff Hanson’s death comes to him at only 31 years; from reports we know that he suffered a fall from his apartment. His death is a terrible early loss for the music industry.
Hanson was born in Milwaukee, at age 13 he formed the band M.I.J and in 2003 he initiated a solo career. There are no details on funeral arrangements yet. Rest in Peace Jeff!

Whitney Houston will be back this year with a new album! It has been 7 years since we heard an original material album from Whitney. That was back in 2002. Today we got the chance to know the release date: September 1.
News was given by Arista Records representatives. The New Whitney album includes songs by will.I.am, Akon and Sean Garrett.
And what about the songs? Well according to some reports, this will be classic Whitney all the way. Declarations by Clive Davis seem to confirm this.
“We’re not going to compromise who she is to fit into today’s hip-hop radio market, the public wants Whitney material.”
Rapper Ortega Henderson has been shot dead! He died today after suffering from wounds of gunshot form the past May 16. Ortega was known in the hip hop world as simply “Tega” and he rapped along hip hop star Nelly with the St. Lunatics.
The reason of the shooting is not unclear, but a fellow member of the St. Lunatics, Kyjuan Cleveland said:
“He got mixed up in the streets, but he was so talented, we thought we could pull him out of it. He was on the right path for a minute, but times are hard and he started getting around the wrong people.”
This case makes us remember the recent murder of rapper Dolla at a Beverly Hills shopping center. Those were the latest updates on Rapper Ortega Henderson.
Adam Lambert Bohemian Rhapsody - Adam Lambert got mad props for Queen, my favorite band. And well, they said that they are pretty interested in working with Adam Lambert. That would be very cool, so, many people are remembering when Adam Lambert sang Bohemian rhapsody for the American Idol audition.

Jay Bennett Death - Jay Bennett has died, his death came to him while he was only 45 years old. He is best known for being a former member of popular rock band Wilco. Today, Edward Burch a friend of Bennett said:
Early this morning, Jay died in his sleep and an autopsy is being performed, the family is in mourning and is unavailable for comment at this time.
Former bandmates from Wilco have not made any comments about the death of Jay Bennett. Burch has said though that the band is suffering a lot from the news, they are currently touring Spain.

Blink 182 Tour Dates 09 - Earlier on we posted about the upcoming tour of Blink 182. It seems the millions of fans a highly searching for all the Blink 182 Summer tour information, se we leave here all the tour dates for the upcoming event.
After a long time the pop punk band has reunited, and according to a post by Mark Hoppus they seem to be doing just fine. The tour starts on July 24 in Vegas and ends on October 13 in Atlantic City. There are still no talks for an Blink 182 World Tour.

Katy Perry American Idol - Last night was elimination night at American Idol, and well, we know now that Danny Gokey was voted off… But we also got to see a performance by the hot and sexy Katy Perry, who sang “Waking Up in Vegas”.
She started the show by showing her Elvis-style cape with the name of Adam Lambert, I’m suspecting he’s her favorite, and of course this lead to the same old controversy of advertising a contestant.
Many people say that Katy is just a beautiful girl, but well here we think her music has a lot of freshness and she looks also like a good entertainer. It’s fun to look at her shows.

Phish Fenway tickets went on sale today, these are for the concert at Fenway Park that will take place on May 31st. However many people seem to have problems buying tickets through LiveNation website, problems while login more specifically.
The Phish Fenway tickets are in high demand right now so you’ll have to hurry on go try to buy them. The concert will be the opener for their Summer tour in 2009.
You may also find Phish tickets in other places such as eBay or Craigslist. If you are a fan the band, you shouldn’t miss them!
Paul Davis - Sad news for the music biz. The singer and songwriter of the musical hit “I Go Crazy” has passed away at rush Foundation Hospital. He was 60 years old.
Paul Davis had his biggest hit back in 1978 with the song “I Go Crazy” which stayed in the Billboard Top 100 for 40 weeks and was a Top 10 single. Despite the success he had, he was always a simple man, more comfortable at home than under the fame spotlight. Other of his songs include “Ride’em Cowboy” and “Do Right”
“He didn’t set out to be famous and he didn’t relish traveling and touring,” said Art Matthews, past owner of a local radio station. “He was very much a homebody. A nocturnal person who enjoyed people and his music. He was every bit as normal as everyone else whose talent happened to be associated with a high profile industry.”
Matthews said Meridian lost a great talent adding: “None of us are promised a tomorrow. Paul lived his life to the fullest each and every day.”

Today, the husband of soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, Jason Rae, was found dead in an apartment in
Rae, 31 played the saxophone with his band Haggis Horns, and not one word about the singer or whereabouts are known. It is also unclear if she was with him at the time of his death. Police is still waiting for the autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Corinne Bailey Rae became known two years ago with the hit “Put Your Record On” She shared an ward in this year’s Grammys with Herbie Hancock for her contribution in his latest disc.
Jason and Corinee met through music and played together. These are sad news for her fans.
