Allen Shellenberger, drummer and founding member of the popular rock band Lit died yesterday after a long battle with brain cancer. He was only 39 years old.
Last year, Shellenberger was diagnosed with this type of cancer, and he started chemotherapy and radiation treatments at the Cedars-Sinai Maxine Dunitz Neurosurgical Institute.
Unfortunately, these treatments aren’t a safe bet to survive cancer and leave people weak, sad and still with the cancer! Our thoughts go to his family. He has one daughter, Giovanna Mackey.

Les passed away at 94 years old, and is a guitarist that has influenced many people around the World. Not only that, but I think he changed the World when his inventions in the guitar field.
Les Paul died of pneumonia complications according to Gibson Guitars.
The legend passed away and his name will always live on. Rest in Peace Les!

Dallas’ Christian band Mercy Me has suffered a bus accident! Although the band suffered no injuries, two other people lost their lives. One male and one female passenger. There was also a woman pregnant inside, who was taken to the nearest hospital.
Because of this, the scheduled concert at Six Flags St. Louis has been cancelled. We’re sorry to hear this news and wish them prompt recovery. To the victims, our thoughts are with them.
There has been a rumor online saying that Steven Tyler is dead. As you may remember he suffered a fall two nights ago when he was performing on stage and was taken to the hospital.
However, let’s all be more relaxed now. Steven Tyler is NOT dead, these are just rumors that spread fast given the circumstances. He just ended up injured in the shoulder and had some heavy bleeding, but he is recovering.
Pussycat Dolls break up rumors have increased greatly after Ashley Roberts said to fans in UK that this would be the last time they’d see the girls performing as a group.
There were rums that Nicole Scherzinger wanted to quit due to the higher “status” she gained over the other Pussycat Dolls, other sources say she wanted to get engaged with Lewis Hamilton. On the last days there were only 4 girls on the show because Jessica Sutta injured her back.
The rep from the band has denied these rumors saying that they will play in Beirut.

Panic at the Disco Breaking Up - News today in the music world is that the popular emo rock group Panic at the Disco are splitting.
Earlier today, they posted a message on their site, announcing that Ryan Ross, who plays lead guitar, and Jon Walker, who plays bass, will be leaving the band to “embark on a musical excursion of their own.”
We just wanted to let you know, that the news of Ryan and Jon leaving the band is unfortunately true. It’s been an amazing journey being in a band with them, but sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can’t ignore it. They are some of the most talented guys we know, and we’re sure that whatever they do next will be great. That said, Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear. Our dates
with Blink and Fall Out Boy start in a little less than a month, and we wouldn’t miss those for the world. We know everybody has a lot of questions at this point with everything being so out of the blue, most of those should be answered in the coming weeks. Lucy Vodden is the woman who inspired the popular Beatles’ song “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds”, she is on the news after rediscovering friendship with John’s Lennon son Julian Lennon.
This week, USA Today reported that Lennon approached Vodden after finding out she is suffering from Lupus.
“Julian got in touch with me out of the blue, when he heard how ill I was, and he said he wanted to do something for me,”
Although many people though that Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds was a song about the initials: LSD, John Lennon always said that this was about a drawing Julian brought home when he was a child, when Lennon asked what it was, young Julian said it was “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” referring to Lucy Vodden his classmate.
How wonderful that Julian is helping Lucy Vodden!
