Raymond Domenech and the France team he commands have said good bye to the FIFA World Cup 2010, after their poor participation and internal problems in the team.
We don’t know if he was joking or what, but Domenech said the team got the fighting spriti he wanted in recent comments to the press after the France vs South Africa game.
“They showed real heart, real fight, real generosity of spirit out there today, it is what I was looking for.” Said Domenech
But that was not all. After the game ended there was an altercation between Domenech and Parreira, South africa’s team coach. Parreira got close to shake hands with him and Domenech simply refused and tried to walk away until Parreira grabbed him by the suit. He didn’t comment on the altercation, but Parreira said:
“I believe it was because I had criticised his team after they qualified, but I really don’t remember.
“This is what his assistants told me.”
