Rhode Island Flooding Update

Hundreds of people living in Rhode Island have been evacuated from their homes in what is predicted to be the worst flooding Rhode island has seen in 100 years! R.I. governor is advising people to get off the roads by dinnertime to avoid problems with the flooding.

Luckily there are no injured people or casualties as a result of the flooding, but it has already affected homes, roads and other buildings.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority said they are replacing the last two stations of train with buses. On March, Providence saw 15.39 inches of rain fall, setting a new record.
