Corned Beef Slow Cooker

Corned Beef and cabbage is one of the most popular dishes to eat on St. Patrick’s Day. This traditional Irish meal can be cooked with the help of a crock pot or a slow cooker. Plus it can be made to last and it will retain the original tasty flavor.

Okay, so here’s a recipe a found on the Web if you want Corned beef slow cooker style.

2-3 pound Corned Beef, with spice packet**
1 head green Cabbage
3-4 Potatoes, peeled and chunked
4 Carrots peeled and sliced into 1 inch pieces (about the same size as potatoes)
1 large onion, cut into fourths

Place Beef on bottom of slow cooker, and layer vegetables on top. Sprinkle with spice packet. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, or High for 5-6 hours.
