A Korean man marries a pillow with the picture of a woman on it. Yes you read that right, and these are not fake news. The name of the man is Lee Jin-gyu, and the picture on the pillow was of Fate Testarossa, from the ‘magical girl’ anime series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.

Lee Jin-gyu is an otaku, a person who is fan of anime series and Japanese comics. The nuptials, chronicled by the press were done in a special event and with the help of a local priest.

‘He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,’ said one friend.

‘They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal,’
