Posted by Yesterday we posted news that Crystal Bowersox, American idol participant had been hospitalized on a serious health condition. Today, we know that it was diabetes. Her hospitalization caused a shift in the show’s schedule and women who were supposed to sing on Tuesday were moved to Wednesday.
Diabetes is a serious condition, and Crystal is one of the favorites in the show so far. Do you think this shift in performance would been an advantage in some way, either rin preparation, or by scoring sympathy points to Crystal.

No, I think Crystal’s talent speaks for itself. And, I get the feeling that the last thing she’d want from anyone is sympathy. Crystal’s talent and earthy persona is way beyond that of typical Idol contestants. At this point, she only needs to continue being herself and it should take her far… win or not.
I don’t think it is going to give any advantage or disadvantage to such a talented performer as Chrystal. She is born to be on the stage. I wish her to get better and hope to see her again many times after Amarican idol. I don’t have any doubts that I will.
I don’t think Crystal used her sickness for an advantage at all. Like the article said, diabetes is very serious and it also said that she was close to quitting. Now why would she go to the hospital sick and then say she wants to quit just for brownie points? You people need to find something better to talk about! I Love Crystal and I think Lee should have been gone a while ago. GO MAMA SOX!
