Posted by Jim Bunning, Senator has come to an agreement with Democratic Harry Reid to pass a vote on the unemployment extension March 2010 bill in a few hours. The bill will pass.
Under the deal, Senator Reid agreed to allow a vote on a measure to off-set the bill’s $10 billion cost with cuts in other programs. The off-set measure is expected to fail. So, despite Bunning’s efforts, the unemployment extension bill will not be paid for.
Bunning’s obstruction, however, continues on another front: Democrats say he has put a hold on all pending presidential nominations, effectively blocking “several dozen” of President Obama’s nomations.

then goes on to say that it is a vote on another measure to pay for benefit… but will probably fail…… totally confused now…

I’m looking forward to much of the same controversy come next month when this 30 day extention expires. Right about that time, the longest term unemployed will be running out of the 99 weeks.
So what is going on now for unemployment of this year 2010? Do these wankers even know how to make up their mind and realise that people are not scared anymore, but the people are pissed off. And I’m tired of the excuses that they cannot help their own people, yet they can help our enemies with food,shelter and even handout medicine.

I’m not looking for a handout. Hell, if these idiots think we are spending the money partying. I mean what a joke. I been laid off 6 times now, Now I’m back in school-still stressing & looking for a half decent job. Being I can’t stand ignorant people say, grab any job, yet my unemployment benefits pay me more then a regular minimum wage job. I’m too old for those type of jobs and I have mouths to feed, I”m married, we have car bills, house bills, etc etc. Minimum wage dont cut it. Especially when I was getting paid $18.00 hr. to get by. $7.50hr piece of shi* job, is a big kick in the NUTTS! I’m barely getting by at all. And I even have my house paid off. I”m lucky to get enough cash to be able to support our house with food,gas,water, over the counter medicine when we’re sick through these messed up seasons or even able to pay regular bills on top of that.
It makes me sick, that we can spend all our money with other countries and also leave sick-o criminals in jail wasting our tax dollars. And yet, can’t even feed our own people in our country. What a joke really!
The excuses make me wank off in disgust and we all need to wake up! Oh so what was happening with unemployment compensation again? I don’t want to get off track or anything……
ther is not a tier5 included in this deal for extended benefits. so us 99ers we are screwed. go to change.org and sign the 99ers cause. go to nelp. call your state reps. I had heard from someone on “dipity” they had considered a 5th tier but tgat it would be 30-40% of tier 4 which would be around 3 wks. get invoved people call local news papers don’t just sit and take it. get it out to friend the public f.b. ect. act!!!!!!!

How about the people that recently were unemployed? They have gained nothing from the extensions. Unemployed 6 months ago, and only got the 26 weeks that has been around for years. No extensions at this time. At least some of you got 99 weeks. The extensions should be fair for all, if some got 99 weeks then everyone should.
I think they should have to live on Unemployment!

Will there be another extension this month of june cause I really need this money and its hard to find a job now. I have a lot of bills and I’m doing it by myself with a child.
