Lil Wayne’s sentence has been postponed and the famous rapper will not enter prison today as scheduled. The change of date was made effective because the artist needed to undergo oral surgery to fix his teeth! Now Lil Wayne will enter prison on March 2, leaving him almost an extra month of freedom.

As you may remember, today Lil Wayne sentencing was expected to be made effective, and the hip hop artist even recorded a Web video for all fans where he said good bye, preparing to go to prison.

Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter) was found guilty of gun possession after a 40-caliber gun was found in his tour bus back in 2007.
