Rory Marcus Died
Rory Marcus, Angel’s announcer has died. Actually Rory Markus is a misspelling, instead his real name was Rory Markas. His death was announced on the radio this morning, not mentioning the cause of death.
Markas was 54 years old and he worked in 2002 announced for history the Angels championship. Broadcast partner Terry smith said on the radio:
“We’re not going to be together — traveling together, getting a bite to eat together, in the booth together,I just can’t believe that’s not going to happen.”
