The Rev Cause of Death
Some days have passed since we learned about the death of Jimmy “the Rev” Sullivan, from the band Avenged Sevenfold. His cause of death has not been determined yet. According to investigators, he died of natural causes and there is no evidence of foul play.
As you may recall, The Rev was found dead inside his home at Huntington Beach. The news took the world of music and fans by surprises. He rose to fame along with his band Avenged sevenfold and gained a lot of respect as one of the best new drummers around. He was a key piece in the Avenged Sevenfold puzzle, and in many interviews members of the band claimed that it was The Rev’s “groove” that really brought the soul in the band.
The autopsy may shed more light in The Rev’s cause of death, but so far, investigations have not suggested anything. Jimmy Sullivan, Avenged Sevenfold drummer was only 28-years-old. The day news about his death were made public, the rest of the band’s members, M Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ, posted the following on the Avenged Sevenfold’s official website:
“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
