Kate Plus 8 New Show!

After many speculations, tabloid stories, and online discussion, we learn today that “Kate & Jon Plus 8″ will be now the show “Kate Plus 8″. Many of us saw it coming, although I would have loved the show to be named “Kate Plus 8 Minus Jon!”

TLC said the show will get a new name “Kate Plus 8″, starting on November. It seems like Kate doesn’t want to give up her “career” as a reality TV star.

“Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family,” TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a statement. “The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers.”

Now the question is “Will Jon get his own show?”. Maybe a spin-off of the original show is under way, we’ll keep you updated!

I loved Kate’s interview on the “Today” Show.She is a beautiful woman inside and out. Like she had mentioned I am one of those single moms who had to raise 2 sons on my on, it is hard job, but the best and most rewarding job ever. If it is any consolation eventually the ex’s fade away. I appreciate that the “Today”show allowed Kate to discuss her side of the latest drama that is Jon. I attempted to watch his interview on Larry King but could not stomach his deception, his and his attorney. I stand firm on my analogy of him, he is a person that truly thinks of no one but himself. I wish luck and success to Kate and the children as well as TLC. God has a way of working things out for us all and I will pray for them all. Good luck Kate.
