Mackenzie Phillips | John Phillips Mamas and The Papas (VIDEO)
Mackenzie Phillips, daughter of John Phillips from the Mamas and the Papas and former child star, has spoken to US Magazine about her life growing up, and she has revealed that John Phillips sexually abused her and he was the one who introduced her to cocaine.
Mackenzie Phillips also appeared on “the Oprah Winfrey Show” talking about these serious topics that will appear on an upcoming autobiographic book. Mackenzie has had a long history with drug abuse, and in 2008 she pleaded guilty for cocaine possession.
She said she has been living with this terrible secret for around 31 years. One of the things she says in her book:
“My father was not a man with boundaries. He was full of love, and he was sick with drugs. I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my own father.”
Chynna Phillips, Mackenzie’s sister also spoke to Us Magazine, and she has said that well… she told her this secret 12 years ago and she kept it since.
