Famous Italian TV Host Mike Bongiorno has died today at the age of 85.  He became famous during the 50s and 60s hosting different quiz shows on television. Bongiorno was working for Sky, and according to a statement from them, the TV personality died in Monte Carlo.

Mike Bongiorno death is said to be caused by a heart attack according to some news agencies. Italy certainly has lost a legendary TV figure.

Mike Bongiorno was born in America but gained his fame across the seas in Italy, where he was known as “The Quiz King”. Rest in peace Mike!
