Charles Gibson Retires
ABC Anchor, Charles Gibson has decided to retire as an anchor form “World News” and it seems he will be replaced by Diane Sawyer. Sawyer would be the second woman at that role, ne of the most prestigious in the World of journalism.
Charles Gibson has been working on “World News” since 2006, and this year he approached ABC News President David Westin to talk to him about considering retiring.
Gibson said:
“It has not been an easy decision to make, This has been my professional home for almost 35 years. And I love this news department, and all who work in it, to the depths of my soul.”
