Hillsdale High School Bomb
Today, a suspect was arrested by police after a bomb went off on Hillsdale High School. Luckily the Hillsdale High School bomb left no one hurt. This happened shortly after 8 a.m. in San Mateo. According to some sources the bomb went off inside a classroom. The San Francisco Chronicle reports:
“The school was evacuated, and classes canceled for the day.
The nature of the explosive device was not immediately known, San Mateo police Lt. Mike Brunicardi said. Officers from his agency were among police who descended on the campus, searching from classroom to classroom to see whether other bombs had been planted and to make sure everyone was evacuated.
The name of the male suspect was not immediately released, and police did not say what his motive might have been. Brunicardi said there apparently had been no phone warning to the school that a bomb would go off. “
