Rory McIlroy girlfriend is on the spotlight today. Her name is Holly Sweeney and she is 16 years old! Being the girlfriend of a rising golf celebrity is not an easy thing. Holly, according to Rory, is shy. Check out what he said to the Belfast Telegraph:
“Holly is quite shy. This is the first time she has been in the media spotlight and she has handled herself really well, but I think she doesn’t want to turn into a typical girlfriend of a sports person, so she likes to take a back seat. There is obviously a lot of attention now and we don’t want to turn into a typical Posh and Becks-type couple. We just want to lie under the radar.”
They seem happy together; it’s good that they don’t want to become Posh and Beckham!
