She announced this via Twitter yesterday, where she wrote:
“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL,”
“I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all… being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.”
FOX confirmed the news of Paula Abdul leaving American Idol, saying the decision was completely hers. Ryan Seacrest also twitted about this saying he was shock and saddened after hearing about Paula’s decision.
