Justin Barrett Email
The email of Justin Barrett (photo below) is now subject to public scrutiny after what he wrote in it regarding Henry Louis Gates JR. The Boston cop was suspended after calling Gates in the email a “banana-eating jungle monkey”.
Barrett says he did say this but to depict a behavior, rather than applying in a racist context:
“I did not mean to offend anyone, the words were being used to characterize behavior, not describe anyone.”
However after reading Justin Barrett Email, the Mayor isn’t buying it and he wants Barrett to be fired. What do you think?
