Walter Cronkite Funeral
Today, friends, family and colleagues gathered on Walter Cronkite funeral. It took place at St. Bartholomew’s Church in midtown Manhattan, where Cronkite family always has attended.
Among known journalists who attended the memorial for Walter Cronkite were: Connie Chung, Bob Schieffer, Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Dan Rather, Barbara Walters, Charles Gibson, Matt Lauer, Tom Brokaw, Morley Safer and Meredith Vieira. Also, Yoko Ono sent flowers saying that she and her family will always remember him.
It was a very emotional funeral, as Walter was not only respected but also loved by many people. Rest in Peace Walter!

Today, I had the honor of attending the funeral service for Walter Cronkite at St. Bartholomew’s Church. While he was a TV legend it is so bizzare for me to think that I lost a dear friend. He was my TV contact for so many important events in my life starting with the Kennedy tragedy and nightly with the evening news. I hope that his passing was gentle and that he is at peace with his lovely wife. My deepest condolences are extended to his loving family. May God bless him. He was one in a million.
