Barbara Sheehan Trial
Barbara Sheehan is a 47-year old woman that killed her husband, and she claims he abused her over 18 years. She was married to Raymond Sheehan for 24 years; he worked at the NYPD. During investigations she has told many incidents of mental and physical violence from part of her husband, and even threats of killing her, her family and then commit suicide.
Barbara Sheehan husband was 49 years old when he was killed by her. She says he always spoke about controlling her and had very much confidence in this fact. However Barbara gunned him down using his guns; 11 bullets ended with his life and his dreams of going down with glory.
Cops arrived the house after a friend of Barbara alerted him. She thought that Barbara was having problems with Raymond, but when the police arrived they found Raymond dead.
Barbara Sheehan also said that she saved about $1600 to leave her husband, but before doing so, her husband abused of her one more time, and things ended up with him dead. She now feels safe and has no regrets about killing her husband. She is now free on a one million dollar bail.
