Maria Del Carmen Bousada, also known as the oldest mother has died at the age of 69. As some of you may recall, she became the proud holder of the “oldest mom title” 3 years ago when she had twins at the age of 66! Yes, at an age where most women are thinking about having grandkids.

Bad luck came for Bousada then, after she was diagnosed with cancer. The children will now remain in the care of family. Sadly, since they are too young, they may never remember the woman who struggled to be their mother. Especially because she had to face a lot of critic and condemnation even from her own family.

Maria Del Carmen Bousada death has provoked again reactions in Spain. El Mundo says:

“This woman for her own ego and lack of common sense did not think that these two children would have to defend themselves very soon. I hope they do not suffer the consequences of such an irresponsible decision.”
