Check out these pictures of Helen McCrory. She is the actress who is playing Narcissa Malfoy in the new Harry Potter movie. She is, in “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince”, the mother of Draco Malfoy, played by Tom Felton.
Helen has also worked on the films Casanova, Flashbacks of a Fool and The Count of Montecristo among others. She has also appeared on the TV Series Life.
On her new role on the Harry Potter movie, she says:
“In this film it’s about protecting her son. The fact that you have children probably makes a bit of a difference, but not enormously, because you do spend a lot of time as an actor trying to imagine what the other person’s feeling, anyway. As a woman you’ve played mothers before, and you don’t have to be a mother to understand what feeling protective is all about.”
