Steve McNair Memorial Service
Steve McNair Memorial Service took place last night in Nashville, where friends and family of the football player were gathered for a final goodbye. His former teammates carried his casket at the service at one of the emotive moments of the Memorial.
During the Memorial it was remembered Steve’s participation in sports and in his community, and everything about the bad things we’ve been hearing about Steve’s life where attempted to tone them down by Bishop Joseph Walker II. He said:
“Eulogizing Steve McNair is a mammoth task. He wasn’t just a parishioner but a friend, a dear, dear friend. It’s incredibly difficult, because obviously you have to work through your own grief and offer aid and comfort to others.”
