Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest 2009
Today is the day for the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest 2009! A traditional eating contest that dates back to 1916. The contest will be broadcasted live by ESPN from 12:00 to 1:00 pm EST.
The contest will take place at Surf and Stilwell, Coney Island; and like every contest, it is subject and speculation about the winners, and of course betting!
The favorites this year are the amazing Japanese hot dog-eating sensation, Takeru Kobayashi, and Joey Chestnut. Here’s a video of last year’s hot dog eating contest.
