Palin Steps Down – On a surprise press conference, Sarah Palin has announced that she will step down as Alaska Governor, and that she will not run for reelection on the next elections.

This happened on a brief press conference just a few minutes ago.  This follows a string a bad vents from Palin, and seems that she wants to take time off.  There is also some talk that Sarah Palin resignation allows her to focus better on her future presidential aspirations.

Palin will step down in a few weeks, leaving in charge Lt. Governor Sean Parnell.
