Sears Tower Glass Balconies
Sears Towers Glass Balconies were unveiled today! This is for many a “scary” new feature on the Sears Tower, especially if you suffer from severe vertigo! The glass balconies are located in the 103rd floor, 1353 feet above the ground!
Taking the first step may be the hardest, and well one always tend to think that the see-through floor is dangerous and can break easily, however, this is not the case. John Huston, one of the Sears Towers said:
“The Sears Tower has always been about superlatives - tallest, largest, most iconic. Today is also about superlatives. Today, we present you with ‘the Ledge,’ the world’s most awesome view, the world’s most precipitous view, the view with the most wow in the world.”
Visitors have had mixed experiences, some are thrilled, some are amused, but they all agree this was a unique experience! Check out more photos below. You can visit the balconies for around $14.
