Ed Thomas shooting - Officials from the Aplington-Parkersburgh High School have said that Ed Thomas, athletic director, has been shot dead inside the school in the weight room! 30 Students were witness to this.
Thomas, 58, was rushed to the hospital after being shot, but he died, reports the Waterloo Courier. This happened at 7:47 am.
Mark Becker has been taken into custody as a suspect, he is a former player in the team, and is under psychiatric evaluation. Becker also was involved in a high speed chase, in the 20th of the current month.
