Ricky Barnes Us Open
Ricky Barnes is the current leader of the US Open. This year gold championship remains open as we see many new names pop out. Ricky Barnes is not widely known in the World of golf, yet he is happy people remember he played there back in the year 2002.
“They walk by and look at the standard-bearer and see the last name, It’s been good. A few people remember that I was here in 2002.”
According to NJ.com:
He followed up an opening-round 67 with a 65 early Saturday, bending this traditionally merciless golf course to his will.
Barnes is a professional golfer from Stockton, California. He’s pretty new to the pro golf, turning pro last year. In this 2009 U.S Open he set the 36-hole scoring record after shooting an 8-under 132 through the first two rounds, in soft rainy conditions.
