Gary Papa Dead | Gary Papa Dies
Gary Papa dead - Philadelphia sports World, has received some bad news today. Sports anchor Gary Papa has died today after battling some time with prostate cancer. He was 54 years old.
Papa was born in Buffalo and started working with 6ABC in 1981 as weekend sportscaster. Cecily Tynan who worked with Papa, remember him as:
“wonderful person, full of life, full of energy, full of love for his family and his coworkers. We’re all going to miss him terribly. . . . He fought the battle as well as he could, but he couldn’t fight any longer. He’ll stay alive in our hearts and in the viewers’ hearts.”
There are no details on funeral arrangements. Rest in peace Gary!
