Robert Pattinson was hit by a taxi today, learning the hard way the hazards of walking in New York City! According to some reports, the star from Twilight was desperately running from fans when the accident happened.

The accident took place at noon in front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12^th street. Luckily he wasn’t hurt.

Pattinson was in NY filming his new movie “Remember me”.  Security guards were trying to hold off a group of hysterical teenagers to keep them from the bookstore.  Robert saw this and then he run to the trailer and BLAM! Good to hear he is fine.
