Continental pilot dies in flight! According to WCBS-TV the pillow died during a flight from Brussels, and the plane had to emergency-land at Newark Liberty International Airport. The source of this info was anonymous, as it seems people are not authorized to talk about this situation.
The pilot was 60-years old, he wouldn’t be allowed to fly the plane previously to 2007 were the max age for this job was 60 years.
This happened on flight 61. According to Continental, the pilot worked with them for 32 years. The pilot was pronounced dead by a doctor aboard, according to Roland Herwig from the Federal aviation Administration.
“It’s up to them as to how they will be involved in this, I don’t think this will be classified as an accident. It will likely be classified as an ‘incident,’ but that is preliminary.”
