Xbox live Down June 16! If you have been trying to access Xbox live today, we’ve got some bad news for you, it has been down for the day. You also won’t find available Zune Social, Zune Marketplace and Zune.net forums. This seems to be an outage programmed for maintenance.
It started at 12:01 PST and could last up to 24 hours. Now the question many gamers are asking is: will Microsoft give Gold subscribers an extra day because of this outage? It would be the logical thing to do.
This maintenance is being done to be able to offer a whole new set of features in their Internet space, like Facebook, Twitter and last.fm. Talk about integration! I wish I had paid another year for my Gold subscription. But hey, the PS3 has online gaming for free!
