Sherri Goforth | Historical Keepsake Photo
Sherri Goforth is the assistant of State Senator Diane Black who was caught sending emails with a racist image. She has confirmed she sent this e-mail, and well the apology she makes is that she “sent it to the wrong list”!!
The email was entitled Historical Keepsake Photo, and it contained this image:
Many blogs have reacted to this image, and how old images of racism are persistent in America. As a reaction the Tennessee Democratic Party urged Diane Black to fire Sherri Goforth.
I am calling on Sen. Black to reject this racist smear and fire this staffer who, on state government time, on state government computers, using a state government email account, launched this bigoted attack on our president, keeping her on the staff would send the message that this type of behavior is condoned by the House Republican Caucus.
