John Ensign Affair

John Ensign affair - GOP Senator John Ensign has admitted having an affair with a campaign staffer.  Today, Ensign released the following statement:

“I deeply regret and am very sorry for my actions,”

The affair with the woman -no name yet - started on December 2007 and ended in August 2008.  The wife of Ensign, Darlene has said that now their marriage has become stronger and added that she loves her husband.

According to two GOP senior political strategists, the announcement was imminent.
