Obama Broadway - Yesterday, President Barack Obama went to New York City, where he enjoyed dinner and also went to a Broadway play. This was the President’s first visit to NY since his inauguration.
What play did Barack Obama go to see with his wife? “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” at the Belasco Theatre. Obama released a statement saying the following:
“I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished,”
Meanwhile, detractors are criticizing this trip, saying that he’s wasting USA resources, by taking the Air Force One, while the Nation is having many problems. Maybe they have forgotten about Bush vacations…
