Britains Got Talent Winner: Diversity Dance Troupe

So, Susan Boyle lost “Britain’s got Talent”.  The winners of the show were a group of young men, called “Diversity Dance Troupe”.  The winner was chosen by public vote. This verdict surprised everyone! Including the judges of the show.

Susan Boyle said some things to them:

“The best people won, they’re very entertaining, and lads - I wish you all the best.”

Again we see how the public always vote the wrong way! Despite all this, SuBo - as she is now known - handled things with a smile and cheered at the winners. Her last performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” was simply amazing.

What about the Britains Got Talent Winners? I have to say I only know Susan and the little kid with the great voice - don’t remember his name. You can check a video of Diversity Dance Troupe, the show’s winners below:

Oh boy, I can’t believe they won. Not impressed at all. Just like the Donald made the wrong decision, so did Britan. Susan and the boy will go on to greatness.

The show “Britain’s Got Talent” has suffered an irreversible setback. Any good cheerleading squad could do what the “Diversity” team did and more. Susan Boyle should have won hands down, but there were also two other young people with outstanding talent.

My comment about the results undoubtedly echoes the sentiments of millions of others. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Such A Shame  on May 31st, 2009

[sigh]

So much talent on that stage, and people want to pick it apart and complain that it’s a joke.

Tell you what, if you hated it, why not write to ITV and ask them to cancel it.

Diversity and Flawless are talented and entertaining. Susan can sing. Adrian can play. I was thrilled that all of them chose to perform, and I’m hoping that each of the acts in the final can move forward from this to careers which inspire all of us.

But I don’t think that will happen, not based on the two comments above.

Such a shame, talent and performers giving their all and people just give them crap for it. Well, Britain, don’t worry. If you continue to give your talented and entertaining citizens such disrespect, you’ll become like the US: a nation of cretins who can only follow the instructions shouted at them by their radio pundits and their tv personalities.

You’re well on your way to mediocrity.

PLEASE look around and see that, while they may not be your personal choice, that they provide something that not every nation has. Inspiration and innovation, creativity and gumption.

Such a shame people can’t see that. Such an utter shame.

That’s a video of them in rehearsal! They were infinitely better on the night, and thoroughly deserved to win. They are also called Diversity, not ‘Diversity dance troupe’

The kid with the great voice is called Shaheen.
