American Idol May 19 2009 - Tonight was the final singing competition in American Idol, and it came down to only two contestants: Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. This time they got to sing 3 songs each.

One song was their favorite from this season, other was picked by Simon Fuller and the third was “no Boundaries”.

As favorite songs, Kris chose “Ain’t No Sunshine” and Adam chose “Mad World”. According to Simon, the winner of this first round was Kris. Next came the songs chosen by Simon Fuller.

Adam Lambert sang “A Change Is Gonna Come” and Kris sang “What’s Going On”. This time, Simon called Adam Lambert the inner.

Finally, on the song “no Boundaries” judges said that the song was best performed by Lambert. But, well, ultimately the pick for American Idol winner, will go to the one with the best votes.
