Samantha Who CANCELLED!
Samantha Who Cancelled - Remember the TV series of Christina Applegate? What? Who? Yes “Samantha Who!” Well, I got bad news if you see it: it has been cancelled!
The executives took the decision to do this after the show fell hard on the TV ratings, despite having a great start in its first episodes. Many fans wanted the show to return, but well in the TV business numbers are numbers, and an effective cut in budget did not take place.
ABC wanted to make it a multiple camera show in order to save 0.5 million dollars per episode.
It seems that what really hurt the show was the change in transmission. It was doing very well on Mondays, but audience fell down quickly after they moved the show to Thursdays. Bad luck for Christina Applegate, we hope she finds more work soon.
