Marvin Webster Found Dead At Ambassador Hotel Tulsa
Marvin Webster, former star of the NBA was found dead today at the Ambassador Hotel in Tulsa. Webster played with the Seattle Supersonics and with them he reached the finals in 1978.

Police said Webster, 56, was discovered dead in Monday morning. Apparently the cause of death is an illness as there are no signs of murder or suicide. He was living at the hotel and employees wondered shy he didn’t showed up.

“Anybody who knew Marvin personally would tell you he was a wonderful man. A jolly giant of a guy,” said W. Charles Bennett, former agent of Webster to The Associated Press from Albuquerque, N.M.
